Small group content advancement

Hello,

I had a question about my beastlord. I played here a couple of years ago and eventually quit because I couldn't seem to advance any further without raiding. This was soon after the Kunark content was released. My question is, has there been any content additions in the game that I could explore as a duo and progress? I have a 65 druid and 65 beastlord, and when I left I was basically just farming dragon necropolis ratmen and the dragons on the off chance that a relic would drop. I could do cmal 1 by myself, but anything harder was tough. I started some quests in Kunark but the mobs hit so hard that I couldn't really kill the mobs efficiently. I don't even mind farming plat to buy stuff that would allow me to do harder content, but there was not much tradable gear that was better than what I have at the time I quit.

I would appreciate any advice. Here are my fomelos.

At some point you have to make friends to keep progressing your characters, that's just the way this game is designed, but if you want to just duo and keep progressing I'd look at doing Bounty Hunting, maybe doing some deity quests, grinding exp/plat in the various lower end 65 dungeons (there are likely some boe's out of ikisith/emberflow/etc that would be upgrades for you -- and there are always tomes to buy), finishing your MQ in the old world, finishing your heartlands faction quests, maybe starting on The Vah quest (doing the first parts of that will take you to a variety of zones you might not have tried), t-maps, and maybe trying to catch a PUG here and there.

Ultimately though if you're wanting to play by yourself there are hundreds of games that are probably better suited to that playstyle. The coolest things in SoD will probably always more than one person to go and do.
