Iirc mield is 30 mins. For filling in the gap between cmal and ember it fits the bill loot-wise, but I think 3/4 bosses are prolly a bit too rough for that intention.

These books do affect procs. Reehs and I tested to confirm this about a year ago

I took it upon myself to start this quest on my alt when this thread started, completed the quest a few weeks ago and I didn't go too crazy with tracking. While it's a little rough to get the assassinations, the only trouble I had was finding EO up.

It used to be a way to get a QP outside of Yclist for Abyss flagging, thats no longer required. Honestly this mob was way to good, but as long as it still can (even if a little more rare) drop tome 2s and class 1s it's a great mob for a group of friends who need a bunch of books.

I still have two items banked that used to have bane, that never got back when the changes went in. The front page news at the time said in a week items that used to have bane would have it again.
