If this kind of target is really on a static 3 days spawn, then yeah it should be more random. Now does it mean devs would have to do that for any lvl 55+ target ? I don't know, but that's seem pretty insane. Anyway, I agree, static day spawn on quest mobs sucks.

Newport ring quest won't max your alignment ... you might get 2-3% from it. You have different quests with Lawful points, just explore and you will find them. You might have to be silvercrown to max your alignment for now, but with a new expansion coming soon, just go blackscale and you will...

The quest should be working properly, as some people finished the first part already. The quest giver does indeed give minimal information. I don't know if you captured any of the other victims. If it's your first try, you should start with an other type of victim, so you know what to do next...

I'd like to see a lot more items with skill mods like: Offense, Defense, piercing, slashing, blunt, bash, tracking, backstab, throwing weapon, archery, dual wield, safe fall, hide, sneak, intimidation, Feign Death, Double attack, monk skills (mend, flying kick ...), taunt. The skills in bold...

I like the magic rune summoned weapon idea. If the devs don't want to add a new spell for mage, what about changing spear of power or blade of power's proc with this magic rune ?

As I said, I didn't get the message "the spell only works on elemental" when I was casting it on these mobs. The spell could land, but I woud get no message at all, nor any damage report. So I'd say it's a bug.

Bane spells are supposed to be situational, and should only affect summoned mobs. However, I haven't seen these spells being effective in tier 8+ zones, at least for mages. I have been trying this line of spells on a lot of different targets, which look like elementals (Thaz : LT water, fire...

What about a strike curse proc which stays for 1 tic ? or put ferocity 8+ on the BP and get no detrimental proc.

I don't see why STA is so important if you're so skilled. 90% of the mobs in Dalaya won't PS or whirlwind, so getting hit by melee damage isn't your problem #1. STA is rogue's weakness, so you have to deal with it, and getting resist gear/augs will allow you to survive way more than some STA...
