Thanks for the info and encouragement. I'm glad you posted before I gave the Bard gear to an alt. Even though he wasn't hitting multiple mobs he was bringing down the single mobs very fast, which does make for some interesting possibilities.

That's no fun. Doesn't give bards many option after lvl 40.

Just got my level 38 Chant of Flame and took it for a test run. Does this spell not have an area effect anymore? I could only get it to hit one mob at a time and they were packed in real tight.

Since March 3 my chanter runes, 61 and next one, doesn't block melee? Has there been a recent change to runes?

A well done to Wiz, the xp problem I previously posted has been fixed. That could have been one nasty bug but it has been eradicated. Hey, you're pretty good at that stuff.

BL pet can't quite tank the gollums in Melc, which are about lvl 57. This will get easier with kei and healing aa's but the end is in sight. They both have less than 10 aa's and should be getting them at the same rate, minus the iksar penalty. The iksar seems to have gotten bugged when he cashed in his first 8 aa's to get recall minion. Ever since he has been tagged for -20% xp and when he turned 65 was still stuck with the -20% tag...

That went from bad to worse. The necro is now 65 and is still getting 20% less xp per kill and is also not getting any aa bonus. Net result is the beastlord is getting 2 aa's for each one the necro gets. BL takes about 150,000 per aa and necro about 260,000 plus less xp per kill. The necro was...

Here's the main chat from each character. They were both lvl 64 with no aa's when the necro left and got 8 aa's. He's been getting 20% less xp ever since? This 20% is the same as the aa bonus for lvl 64? I'll report back when the necro hits lvl 65. Doesn't seem to be a common problem and...

Necro xp divided by BL xp is always 0.8. Tried a different zone with same result. The BL nullify magic spell does work, although the message comes when the spell is 80% cast. I took off my casting speed III but it didn't change. Only spell I've ever had do this.

My 64 iksar necro is getting 20% less xp than my grouped 64 beastlord. Wasn't happening a week ago and never had this problem before. Both have same zone mod and same new zone mod. Necro just got 8 aa while the bl sat out a week, but no other difference I can think of. Those two been leveling...

What about Restore Warder on the beast thurg quest bracer. It says combat but is a beneficial spell. Does that mean it only procs on heals and the like cast during combat?

You're not fooling anyone. I know someone is writing their masters thesis in sociology based on Dark Rot and its impact in SOD. I enjoyed having my alts try to not get it. My cleric still doesn't have it, which was a bit tricky given the ports and rezes he did.
