I believe the reason he is returning them is that you can only hand in 1 weapon of each type, each time. So if you were to hand in 4 different weapons, he wouldn't hand any back. If you only have 2 types of weapons, simply hand them to Girix in pairs.

It's really easy, just copy your whole eq install and paste it into a diff folder, set up two shortcuts that each load different client paths.
