I seem to have pissed off Grizimorp the Fallen by calling him is dirty undead ghost. Is there a way to do this quest or have i boned my rogue out of getting the ring?

Has any one seen this NPC in a while. I was looking for him in east badlands for the BST quest and he is nowhere to be found. I thought maybe it a day/night thing so i came back many times at different hours and no dice. Does anyone have information about this?
