More a play on names, sorta, I like summoner because Mages are Summoners. We summon pets, we summon stuff. The purpose of the channel is for summoning discussion. Sorta why taxi isn't called, porting, or transporting. It's all a matter of names, really.

Well, to change the main loading theme, delete the old eqtheme.mp3 and replace it with an mp3 of your choice. Rename the file to eqtheme.mp3 and viola, there you go :). Combattheme1 and combattheme2 are the various battle music. Hope this helps.

I think they work just like the normal translocators. They're just set to Iksar faction, I think? I created an iksar and the portalist would port me around. My human SK though, is dubious to the dark portalist.

Ok, I've got a problem. I'm not able to logon to the server. I've tried reinstalling, repatching, replacince eqgame and the various dll's and reinstalling video card drivers and DirectX, and I'm stumped. Everytime I get to the server select screen, EQ will go to the desktop, and then hang...

Perhaps, but theres lots of names that are based off names and stuff. Aiden, for examples, is old gaelic for "small flame" or small fire. Not trying to debate policy, but I think that as long as its not blatant, as wtfmates and dorito, as long as it sounds like a name, it shouldn't be illegal.

If you like using the world flame, maybe a suggestion is to look around for words meaning flame in a different language.
