Newport merchants were dubious and would not sell to me. However, I did ring 1 and turned in ~30 faction coins and hit apprehensive. After that, they sold to me. Athica merchants were indifferent and sold to me.

I read through the fishing tradeskill wiki and noticed all of the merchants appear to be in Iksar distrusting cities. Is there a fishing merchant for ogre/troll/iksar/DEs etc? My apologies if I misread.

Yeah, looks like the population is rapidly dropping. I assume that as people zone, they are kicked and can't get back on. Guessing the staff will notice and take action soon enough...
