Try running the game in fullscreen, or adjust your desktop gama.

It's also caused by recent generations of Nvidia cards. Try playing outside first person, then you'll only experience this issue when the camera clips into objects.

I and a lot of other users have FiOS and I don't experience any problems connection wise, except for the client's packet-loss bug, which is unavoidable.

I have a 9800GTX + on my PC, the whole polygon-texture-mesh issue doesn't really bother me while in 3rd person. I'll occasionally get some weird clipping if I'm too close to a wall and in a weird camera angle. All together though I really do not mind. I also have a i7 920 and it runs fine.

I'm running SoD just fine under the same OS, 64bit. I just made sure all the programs associated with SoD is ran as admin and under XP sp2 compatibility. Also it works fine with UAC.

A surefire way of getting onto SoD would to be purchasing the Titanium edition, it works right out of the box as soon as you install the SoD patcher and run it.

Send it in for repairs, it's going to overheat and permanently damage your graphics chipset.

It's already known that multi-cpu computers may experience GFX issues. Selecting the CPU affinity in the patcher may help.:monocle:

Try doing a full repatch.

Download the new patcher, let it update and repatch etc. http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/patcher2/sodpatcher.exe When you run it check the Bind Affinity to Processor box, and bind it to either 1, or 2.
