100k charm

100k charm of energy is out of whack compared to charm of barrier and not at all a in between charm at all for casters.

As it stands now.

Charm of the Barrier

20 ac 12 str 12 dex 12 sta 12 cha 12 agi 175 hp 75 mana
12 to all resists
Effect aura of the barrier (3 hp regen 25 atk)

Charm of the Energy
12 ac 9 dex 9 cha 12 wis 12 int 9 agi 75 hp 150 mana
4 to all resists
3 ft

In my opinion these two charms are way out of balance. On the energy you actually lose resist points from your 36k charm and gain 70 mana lose 3 wis/int and gain some dex cha agi. I don't understand this at all here are my suggestions for upgrades to make this a viable upgrade charm.

Charm of Heroic Energy
12ac 12 dex 12 cha 12 wis 12 agi 75hp 175 mana
12 to all resists
ft 3
Lesser runes of healing (shield of freeport effect)

Charm of Diabolic Energy

12ac 12 dex 12 cha 12 int 12 agi 75hp 175 mana
12 to all resists
ft 3
Lesser runes of searing 3% to crit rate(searfire crit rate)

I believe that these 2 charms instead of charm of energy would put it more in line with he other charms as well as making it a viable upgrade.
 
Yeah I think these are great ideas. Being a 2boxer its hard to farm for 2 200k charms. I planned on the 100k charm for my ranger, but the way the caster 100k charms look there is no way I would purchase one.
 
I like this idea alot. Healers tends to skip 100k charm because it only benefits some more mana and no focus effects from the 36k one. Awsome idea seferon.

and yeah up the ac on barrier =)
 
The stats are too good on the proposed 100k ones. Holy charm only has 190 mana. 100k more plat does not justify 15 mana and a couple more percent crits. sorry.

Ok i see that but lets put it this way. 100k barrier is a viable upgrade because it gains.

So the jump between 36k-100k is

4ac, 95hp, 12 to multiple stats, loose the 30fr but gain 26 points in total resists, 25atk
lose 3 dex/str 1 regen

jump from 100k-200k

26 ac 13 to the stats 50hp 8 to all resists 1 hp regen 10atk

for casters as it stands now

36k-100

lose 3 ac, 5hp, 3wis, 12sta, 10toatl points from resists
gain 9dex-9cha-9agi 70mana

You gain no effects at all and loose 12sta which i think off set's the 9dex/9agi so you gain 9 cha for -3 of your chosen stats so only thing you gain is 70 mana for a 100k charm?

Now for the 100k-200k caster

loose the 9dex/agi
gain 20sta, 11cha, 8wis/int, 40mana, and a focus effect 10% heal crits 6% nuke

Even if you drop the 36k charms down to 2ft it still makes the 100k charms a waste of money. I cant see 1ft and 70 mana being worth the 65k needed to upgrade to a 100k from the 36 without some type of effects. Having a searfire component built in adds a bit of incentive for an intcaster, it frees up an aug slot. As it now stands many people buy a 36k and then give up because the 100k caster charms are a joke, and 200k takes way to long to farm.

I agree with gtoo that the mana is a bit high, id drop it down to 150 mana on both. I would even go as far as 140 mana if you think the effects are to powerfull.

I also agree with this, but still feel there need to be some effects added to the 100k charms :p
