Hey Allie, this isn't an attempt to low-ball you on your listed pirces or anything, but why is quiver of sun 4k?

How much DD does it proc and how rare is it? thats probably what makes the price so high but im curious.

All of the 65 spells are really really rare. I don't honestly know the amount of the DD on the proc, I've never played a ranger here in SoD - but I know some rangers who have looked for this spell for months =(.

That seems a common theme from lv65 spell sellers :hmph:

I like to think the spells are just really really rare to be up for auction, which doesn't translate to really really rare drop rates. They seem to drop commonly enough, meaning they aren't really really super uber rare to drop. It's all a matter of where people are killing and who in the raid would need a 65 spell. My opinion is, if someone pays x amount of plat for x spell over x market price from x seller then well to that person the spell was worth the price, nuff said. I can see someone paying 4k for that spell. The spell itself though I hear isn't anything to cream your pants over so who knows.

You must be playing a different game than I am. Lvl 65 spells drop from raid mobs or very difficult named mobs. I have been 65 for coming up on a year, have been in a raiding guild (low tiers but active), and am still missing 2 lvl 65 spells on my cleric. I have yet to see them drop; I have yet to see them for sale. In fact, Allie, who is one of the most active people on the server, and who has been in the most advanced guilds on the server, has recently been auctioning to buy one of these (presumably for her cleric), which to me is a good indication of the rarity of these spells. Level 65 spells ARE rare.

Hehe, I wasn't sure quite what he was getting at, so my response was just the same as yours!

Avaline has been looking for the 65 spell Dissolvement of Shadows for months - and it's a Nuke! I was in ventrilo months ago with a farming group that came across 65 Vessel of Althuna: and I bought it from them on the spot for 10k. Level 65 Yaulp VI I got from a raid I was on - I've never seen it sold or auctioned before.

I'm very surprised that anyone would claim 65 spells are common, but I guess some people are more lucky than others.

Deidden is missing Dissolvement of Shadows as well. We saw it drop from Lord Eld on one of our first raids, and it went to a necro. I haven't seen it drop or for sale since. I hadn't seen Yaulp VI at all until about a month ago when I found someone selling it and bought it... only to find out it doesn't stack with either Glory or Empower, I forget which. =\

Edit: Just noticed a spell I mentioned isn't an actual spell. =P
