Are old accounts automatically on the new eqemu login servers?

I am having trouble logging into my accounts. I am unsure if I am doing it right. I remember my old password, but I keep getting a dberror.

Was something changed when the SoD login server was merged with the EQEmu one? I recall vaguely SoD had disconnected with that community, and now I am unsure how to properly log in.
 
They were not merged.

If you're using an old SoD account you want to run the patcher with the "Use EQEmu login server" option unchecked.
