Sound problems

So, I'm having an issue with some sounds. I can only hear the ocean waves and lava. No bags opening/closing, no footsteps, no attack sound. All of the sound options are selected as ON, except for the music. How do I fix this? Re-patching all doesn't change anything. Please advise

No, disable sound is not checked

Take a look at the sounds folder under your SoD directory. Also, make sure that in your eqclient.ini that you have the line Sound=TRUE .

Hi Everybody,

I just started playing again after several years and I am having this same problem.

I can hear the music and environmental sounds, but no sound effects.

The box to mute sounds on the patcher is not checked, I checked my EQ client and sound is set to True.

Sound=TRUE

Anyone know what else it could be?

• soundassets.txt
• snd1.pfs - snd17.pfs
