This is cool, I like the fact that Adepts aren't a thing for the season, else you would have everyone camping them. I'm assuming seasons will reset and/or continue after season one if all goes well?

Looks like that did the trick. I removed the following files from the directory and I was able to zone into RSP and Darkwoods no problemo. It looks like the patcher made back up of the lavastorm and nektulos files but failed to delete the originals

Okay, so this bug is pretty wild. When I enter Red Sun Peaks (from druid port so far) it seems that my client is loading the wrong zone files. I'm either stuck in the sky, or I can run around on a map but it's not populated with mobs. People I've been with say they can see my characters, or...

Yep that's the plan so far, lots of level locking. I'm hoping we can continue to take down adepts after 20 with two boxes.

It sounds like a processor multi-core issue on AMD processors, Everquest is designed to only use one core and it seems EQ is pretty good about assigning itself to only one core but in your case perhaps it's trying to use more then one, causing your game to run at ludicrous speed. I found some...
