There is something wonky with throwing damage tables that just makes throwing bad dps. Eg. hasted rogue with deadeye3 will be lucky to see ~100dps using skysplitters. There really isn't a time where you would use them. You can do more dps just jousting whirlwind and pressing backstab...

In game, the client has no worn attack cap. By this I mean if you have +200 attack in gear, you'll be able to slowly reduce your attack by 200 by removing gear. The attack cap is server side, and (in theory) ignores everything over 150. Historically parses seem to show this working correctly.

Its also a duo with just a paladin for heals. The caster being able to heal themselves (taps) is a nice benefit.

Servant's guards won't aggro if the door is closed and the roamers are dead. If the roamers are up, they'll always aggro and 9/10 times will bring the guards outside the room. Just position yourself in one of the hallways so you only have to kill the roamers, then invis into the room...

Cmal stuff is all named the same based on class. So cmal 1/2 will be cambrium, and 3 will be preservers. Its been awhile, I think it might have proc'd a group greater heal? It isn't going to be anything amazing if you're tier 7. Tier 7 is clockwork-ish, yes? Hope for a blackmetal robe...

The quest is broken in more than one spot, the first of which you've just found. Save the book, save the dagger, and hope maybe eventually it'll be fixed. Don't count on it.

My twink Zummy got it at 57 =p I duo'd killed the named/ph as it spawned darn near non-stop (12+ hr/day) for about two weeks before it dropped though. I ended up with 4 wizard spells and an uncountable number of masks.

Not saying it isn't broken, but you in no way have to kill any mobs to get to the advisor. You can go through RSM instead and pop out near Melwin, well past any see-invis mobs/roamers. Someone easily could have snuck in there and popped him.

Yeah, I've been holding off on a pc upgrade because I didn't want a videocard that bugged out on sod. Those are the two newest ATI cards, which finally appear to be competition to nvidia. Was hoping anyone who happened to buy one would let us know if they had any issues.

I know the newer generation nvidia cards have issues in SoD when using 1st person. Anyone have a chance to try a 4850/ 4870 yet?

I heard that too, spent some time (a bunch) camping him. No luck. I later heard that he no longer spawns at all. No idea if it is intentional or a bugged spawn.
