I don't think EVERY zone has a cat room, but yes there are a number of them, as well as other inaccessible rooms, some of which have coordinates on the walls. One of the uses back on live when I was a guide was summoning naughty people there to get them to cool off. Kind of an impromptu and temporary jail. My favorites are definitely the cat rooms.
Oh an as an interesting aside, there IS content that exists that no one has found. It would be cool to see someone locate such content, especially stuff that has apparently been around forever. No I won't tell you zones or give you hints, in part because I don't know the details. I want to be surprised, too.
Sigh...unfortunately I have to say that this bit of news is false hope. Its a bit depressing trying to find quests connected to npcs only to find out the quest is bugged or incomplete. Oggok mines has unfinished quests. With the text telling me it isn't completed. "What ghost fear" is another quest that has no solution. If people can't solve low lvl quests, why should they search high lvl zones for quests that are bugged?
One last thing, if you can't tell us where to look. At least tell us what is out there, an undiscovered zone, quest or raid mob? I don't mind looking, but I hate spending days looking for something I am not even sure of. Yeah I know I am doing a wild goose chase with the eye of thurm, but I will try for a few days then give up.

- Storm Tyrant's Crown is almost certainly from lonely old Storm Tyrant Jor in EJ, who very rarely sees action and thus goes untouched for months (or perhaps years) at a time due to people being dismissive of his loot and the difficulty in convincing an adequate force to go to his odd location.
- Horn of the Morning Call, which is partially documented, is likely a drop from Prelak the Dawn Caller or a similar (perhaps also undocumented) named in Cauldron of Dawn.
- Hakim Family Spear almost certainly comes from the Hakim city in Azzerach (Plane of Fire).
- The Jewel of Gruthluk must be related to The Murk in some way, as his name is mentioned in several Murk village quests (and is also apparently sometimes spelled Gruthulk).
- This list was only updated along with the release of The Overgrowth (2012), so some values are inaccurate due to buffs/nerfs.
- Some of the items (particularly the low-end stuff) may include Winter's Roar/Lands of Magic content that has been inaccessible for over a decade.
- Some items may simply be humdrum pet items that were never added to the wiki simply because the items are regarded as disposable and unable to be added via Fomelo2Wiki.
